Lucas Cole: Assembly Speaker
Lucas is a graduate from Michigan State University.  After a two year stint in the automotive industry, he decided to pursue other ventures and hooked up with Healthy Visions in August of 2008.  Since developing the "Tech Effect" presentation in response to the widespread issues with "Sexting," he has delivered his message at two High School assemblies, facilitated forum style discussion groups with parents, presented at the Asset Builder's Alliance learning and networking event to over 30 youth serving organization leaders, has been interviewed on two separate radio networks,  has been invited to partake in a Warren County city hall meeting on sexting, and will be presenting at the Search Institute's Youth Convention in November.

Dave Ashley: Peer Presenter
A goofball man with two passions. The first for adventure, but more likely to end up in the hospital than the X Games. The second for making a difference in the lives of others.
Dave went to school at Xavier University (MS) and loves international travel.  Dave has displayed a commitment to today’s youth by serving as a youth worker since 2000 both locally and internationally. Dave shares about life as a single to students and shares his lessons learned.

Stacy Menzter:
Stacy Mentzer is our awesome intern who helps with all the really important stuff, like making copies, scheduling meetings, and getting coffee for the "big wigs."  We're kidding.  Actually Stacy lends her expertise in the organization of data for curriculum overhauls, manages R&D projects, and gives her support in any way she can.

Chad Eastham:   Author, Teen Culture Expert
Chad Eastham is the author of the bestselling Revolve book The Truth About Guys. His newest release Guys Like Girls Who . . . investigates the world of teens to bring you the insights on what guys and girls truly appreciate about one another.  His bluntly honest and hilarious writing style put teenage reality in black and white for all to see. The Truth About Guys invites readers to understand Guy/Girl relationships, and gives girls the honest scoop on how guys are wired.   Chad is the co-author of a national award-winning curriculum on sexual education for youth as well as the Revolve Teen Devotional with friends Natalie Grant, and Jenna and Max Lucado.

By age 15, Chad was locked up in a long term drug and alcohol dependency center.  Those experiences gave him the first insight into understanding the difficulties and realities that teens can face today.  Using humor, honesty, and a uniqe style of personal communication Chad wrings out every ounce of experience and effort from his life to help teens make informed choices. One large influence is Healthy Visions, a research agency for teens. In addition, he has served as a leader for Campus Crusade for Christ, a chemical dependency counselor, an Alaskan Adventure Guide, and an advocate for youth issues statewide and nationally. He has two BA degrees from Miami University. When not writing Chad travels with  his well known author, recording artist, and Olympic friends at The Revolve Tour.  Chad's overall belief system for teens is that teens should make healthy decisions because they CAN, not just because they are  supposed to.

Adoption

Steve Feldmann

Steve is an adoptee, an attorney with an MBA, and a proud father of two. He delivers a powerful presentation through his life story.  From birth until the age of 8, Steve traveled between foster homes and orphanages before being adopted.  Like many foster care children, Steve struggled with issues of value, identity and purpose. Steve shares his life challenges and the struggles he has overcome.  His story is a strong message of hope, perseverance, thanksgiving, and the profound, life-altering impact that parental love has on children.  He attributes his success and ability to love to the devotion, belief and love shown him by his adoptive parents.  He knows that adoption saved him and continues to push him to live a life worthy of those who have stepped up to make a difference in his life.
